Why is QubitTask so much cheaper?
We run lean. No giant sales team, no VC-funded growth-at-all-costs. We target a ~20% margin — enough to sustain the business and keep investing in the product. Most SaaS tools operate at 80–90% margins because they can, not because they need to.
Will the free plan stay free?
Yes. The free plan for up to 5 users with full features is permanent. It's not a trial, there's no time limit, and we won't retroactively gate features behind a paywall.
What happens when I go from 5 to 6 users?
You'll be asked to upgrade to the Pro plan at $5/user/month for all users on your workspace. Same features — the only thing that changes is billing.
Will the price ever go up?
Only if our costs go up, and we'll tell you exactly why before it happens. If our infrastructure costs drop, we'll pass those savings along too. That's the deal.
What if I need enterprise features like SSO or audit logs?
We're building those and they'll be included in the same plan at the same price. No "Enterprise tier" tax. When they ship, everyone gets them.
How do you compare to Linear?
Linear is a great product. But their AI features (Linear Asks, Triage Intelligence, Insights) require the Business plan at $16/user/month. Their Basic plan at $8/user/month doesn't include AI.
